Insurance & Payment Options
Therapy fees and insurance coverage at Juniper Blu Collective
Figuring out how to pay for therapy shouldn’t be the hardest part of getting started. At Juniper Blu Collective, we accept CareFirst insurance and offer hands-on support to help clients with other insurance plans make the most of their out-of-network benefits. Below you’ll find everything you need to understand your options before your first session.
Therapy Fees
- We are in-network with CareFirst insurance.
- For clients with other insurance plans, we are considered out-of-network. Our session rates typically range from $180–$328 per 53-minute session, depending on the provider.
- If your plan includes out-of-network benefits, we offer concierge support to help you navigate the process. This includes providing documentation and guidance to help you seek reimbursement.
- We also offer a limited number of reduced-fee spots based on availability.
- For your convenience, we accept all major credit cards.
- If you have questions about fees or insurance coverage, we’re happy to help you understand your options.

How Our Out-of-Network Concierge Support Works
If you have a PPO, HMO, POS, or federal insurance plan, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement for your sessions, even though we don’t bill your insurance directly. Here’s how we help: we provide you with a monthly superbill (an itemized receipt your insurance company accepts), walk you through how to submit it for reimbursement, and answer questions along the way. Many clients are surprised by how much their plan covers once they actually go through the process. We’ll help you figure out what to expect before you commit.

Call the member services number on the back of your insurance card and ask: “Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits, and what is my deductible and reimbursement rate?” We can also help you work through this before your first session.
